When I went in for my first follow-up the next day, my right eye was doing great and already pretty clear, but my left wasn't. It turns out I had a wrinkle on my flap on that eye, so had to go back in to have it "re-floated". I had to have that done twice on my left eye. . . what a pain. But it is now wrinkle free, and on the road to recovery. My right eye is now 20/20, and my left is almost there as well. Over all, it has been a good experience for me. I can't wait for my new life glasses and contact free! It is crazy to wake up in the morning and be able to see the clock without squinting or reaching for my glasses.
So that has been my week since last wednesday. .. lots of drives up to Sandy to the eye doctor to have my eyes checked and "re-floated" twice. I thank all my friends and family for babysitting and helping me drive when I couldn't. . . I couldn't have done it with out you.

Ugh! You had to have it refloated again?!?! I am sorry! At least you know all the hassle will be worth it...right?
I'm nervous to get it done after your experience.
You'll have to let me know how it is to be free from glasses and contacts.
Good for you! You mentioned you might do it but I had no idea you were going for it. Bob has mentioned wanting to get that done but somehow I doubt he will ever follow-through. I am wondering what the cost is? I dont think insurance covers it.
Congratulations, Kristie! Having 20/20 vision is something I dream about. (Of course, I will just keep dreaming, because I am way to big of a sissy to have the operation!) Kurt has also talked about this for awhile.
I didn't know you were getting this done! I hope to have this done at some point in time. How great to have 20/20 vision!
How bad was your vision? i have thought about this many times, but have never bit the bullet.
