Oceanside, CA

We had a great time visiting my sister, Shareen and her family in Oceanside, CA. We were able to make a stop in St. George on our way to check on my parents home and visit some friends. Of course one of the highlights was being able to see Wicked in San Diego. .. I LOVED it. Thanks to Shareen for taking the kids for the evening. I just wish I would have spent a little more money for some close seats. We were at the front of the balcony, but it would have been nice to be closer. Next time, right? On Thursday night we went to this street fair and realy loved it. The girls found (with David's help of course) these bracelets with cools bugs in them. We also took some family picture this night. Shareen was kind enough to play photographer for us. . .. some of those picture are in the earlier post. I am quite pleased with how they turned out. Not bad for my little camera!
Of course we had plenty of beach time. We love going to the beach. I am so glad the Mike and Shareen are willing to put up with us every year when we come!!
Until next year. . . .

That last picture shows the perfectness of a california night. I bet it was warm with a slight breeze. The kids look gorgeous, and so grown up.

I'm so glad the kids enjoy being together. It is nice to have good cousin relationships. Your pictures are great and I wish I could give you all a big hug!

Do you do your picture on picasa? Love how you put them pictures together. Looks like a perfect vacation....lots of beach time and a night out to see Wicked! Did David like the musical as much as you?

All the kids look so tan and cute!

I should have had you teach me how to do those picture montages when you were here. I like them. I really like your last picture of the kids in front of the library. They all look cute & it's that perfect time of night.

i do the collages on picnik.com it is so easy, especially since i had already loaded the pictures onto my photobucket account. on photobucket you can do slideshows like the one i did below and maybe even collages too, but i have only done the slide show thing on photobucket. . . you can directly put the slideshow on your blog as well from photobucket. very easy.

It looks like you guys had a great week. I am jealous - feel lucky that we got to see each of your families individually, but I wish we could have joined the CA fun.
