We were able to get together with some good friends and go camping overnight last Friday over Memorial Day weekend. We went with the Pasketts, Udalls, and Cottles . .. just like old times from our ward in Provo a few years back. When we get together, it feels so good. I think I can speak for everyone by saying that a good time was had by ALMOST all (a few teenagers were anxious to get home Sat morning. . . ) But my kids had a BLAST, and it was great to visit and hang out with all our great friends. . . we truly are lucky. Elizabeth and Mia (and I think a few other kids) totally grossed me out by taking off shoes, socks, and running around barefooted. They were sooo dirty.
Those boys just didn't want to leave the fire alone! And isn't that about the cutest group of very dirty girls you have seen in some time??Posted by Unknown at 10:11 PM 7 comments
Elizabeth "graduated" from Kindergarten on Friday. Here is one of the songs they sang. The quality is bad because I just filmed it with my little camera. You may not be able to spot her. . . can you?

I thought David looked so funny in this photo. I had to put it on.
Kennedy did a "Great Brain" project at school on Kangaroos. She presented it to her class Thursday. I was not very excited when she said she wanted to do this project. (It is not required. . . only if you want to do it, and most kids do it early in the school year. . . .not the last couple weeks of school) But Kennedy REALLY wanted to do it, and I decided that if she really wanted to do a project that bad, I should support her. So we did a lot of research on Kangaroos and put this poster together for her to share with her class.
She did a great job presenting to her class.
What else, you ask?
Well, Luke has been practicing baseball four evenings a week, we've had a jog a thon at school, I have been helping with some Trek activities for our stake (Luke will be going this summer), I attended a mother/son night with Luke for scouts, I have had to search for Elizabeth around the neighborhood and then put her on restriction, yard work, house cleaning, yelling at kids to pick up their stuff, watching american idol, going on walks, going on field trip with kennedy, keeping mia and elizabeth from fighting, running errands, book keeping, paying bills, etc, etc, you get the idea. Life is crazy. But good. Really really good. I will keep you all posted on the house hunt!

My mom and I helped a little with a big service project Thursday night at the BYU women's conference. We helped with the group assembling these cute wands and crowns that will be donated to sick little girls in hospitals to help cheer them up a bit. The girl that was in charge was absolutely amazing, and designed these herself. It is nice to be a small part of something good. Here I am sampling the cute wand and crowns that all these ladies helped put together.
