Not a lot going on this week. Luke finished up his basketball season on Saturday with a hard loss. He was upset, because his team only won two games this year. We tried to console him by letting him pick out some ice cream at the store.
We also had our Blue and Gold Banquet for cub scouts this week. I don't know if I would really call it a "banquet". They served hot dogs! This kids liked it, though. The dragon is a little parade the boys did.

good to have an update. too bad Luke's team couldn't have one another game...losing is no fun. hope that the ice cream helped.
Cool dragon! That is very creative! Tell Luke I am sorry about his season. As many times as we all say "it's not if you win or lose, it's how you play the game" we all know it is much more fun to win.
I played on a bball team where we only won 2 games in 2 years, so I sympathize. You want to just enjoy playing, but losing that much gets old. Here's hoping for a better season next year!
Luke, I've heard your grandpa say many times, "There is a lot more heartache with sports than glory!" I do believe it is true as any Mariner, Sonic, SEahawk, and Husky fan will tell you.
I was the coach of that 2 win team that Shareen palyed on! Needless to say, I did not get any offers to coach at a higher level.
