Kung Fu Panda

Kennedy has been wanting to go see Kung Fu Panda since it came out a few months ago. I am too much of a cheap-0 to take the family to the regular theatre. So she had to wait. It finally made it to the dollar theatre so we met up with the cousins and went today for Labor Day. It was really crowded, in fact sold out, at the theatre. But we all saw the movie plus got popcorn and drinks for 16.00! Who can beat that? Plus the drinks and popcorn were bottomless so we could keep refilling them. We are heading out for a walk to the park to relieve our pop and popcorn fileld bellies. We all enjoyed the movie too. What did you do for Labor Day today?

We tried the same thing at the Dollar theater in American Fork. Except we didn't get in. Our theater was sold out too. So we ended up seeing Indiana Jones. It was good, but the kids had their heart set on Kung Fu Panda.

Some packing, cleaning, final missionary prep, last minute trip to WalMart, and lots of crying :)

That sounds like my kind of movie theatre!
Bronte had soccer practice, we went to our favorite pizza place for lunch, made one last trip to the outdoor pool and shave ice (both close after labor day) and had the missionaries over for dinner. A full, fun day!

We went out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen because the girls had got certificates there for doing the library reading program. Anya almost ruined that by throwing the biggest 2-year-old-ish fit, but I managed to threaten her enough to get that under control. We went to the park to practice soccer, and then to the pool to cool off. BTW, Anya really likes your playlist!

I love the dollar theater! Family night is the best -- you get tickets and popcorn for $10.

As for what we did. . . the list is too long so you'll have to check out the blog. (I did see Dave & Luke at the game Sat morning)
