I am considering getting a new camera, and this one is on sale this week. Do any of you know anything about it. .. if it is a decent camera or not? It is the Kodak Easy Share Z1085
I don't want to waste my money. .. . but I think it is time for an upgrade from my 4.1 magapixel camera I have now!

I wish I had some advice -- sorry. But how exciting to get a new camera! I want one too.
It will be nice to use it for your 365 project. I saw a book last year that two friends published of their photos. It was really great. You should make yourself a book too when you're done. What better coffee table book could you have?
I don't know anything about this camera in particular. I have the Nikon D40 and love it. It has all the functions I need, many more than I know what to do with.
I don't know anything about this camera, either. I have the Canon Power Shot SD950 IS, and love it. I don't think it is as fancy as the camera shown here... contact Kelly or Gina. They really know their cameras!
Consumer Reports had the Kodak Easy share on their list of top Christmas gifts. It was a different model number, but those change frequently and would guess that if one is good, the other models must be too.

it has a wide angle (love that)
and you can adjust the iso manually. (very easy and lets you get more light without using the flash)

oh heck- i have needed an awesome camera for about two years now but i am so chincy w money that i have just endured my hecka old camera! i want a digital slr camera- like the canon d90 or canon rebel...i might have to wait all the way till next christmas! (the kodak series of cams should all be top notch- kodak is a truted name)
so, as kelly said i just got the camera that she recommends and i LOVE it. it's super easy to use as is, but also really easy to change it up a bit with just a few pushes of the buttons. i also love that it's small and easy to bring with me everywhere. i've dropped it once (kind of a clutz) and it's still working perfectly.
i got mine from amazon, but i found out that best buy will price match anything if you bring it up with them. so if you don't want to wait that's always an option. good luck on this!
