Birthday Surprise
- Went to the gym and ran
- Came home to David and the kids cleaning the house (what a nice present)
- Went to Luke's basketball game (they won!)
- Went to lunch at Beto's
- Got Mia down for a nap
- Attempted a little home organization. . . still needs a lot of work
- Went to a movie with David and his brother Dan (The Golden Compass. . . if was at the dollar theatre)
- Had dinner at Bajio (love their salads)
My best surprise was David had my ring fixed. One of the side stones fell out a year and a half ago, and he had it fixed so I can wear it again. I LOVE IT!

Mechanic. . who me?
We seem to be having our share of car troubles lately. Today it was a hole in the tire. David started to patch it this morning, but ran out of time. I had to drive to preschool this morning, so was forced to finish the patch job myself. I was pleased that I was able to get it drivable, until I went to the gas station to put more air in the tire as it lost quite a bit. I couldn't figure out how to do it. David had a good laugh about that one. I guess I'm not as smart as I thought. I need a few lessons in car maitenance.

Classless
As most of you know, David coaches the 9th grade girls basketball team at the Junior High here. They had a game today against a local rival team. It has been a rough year for his team (they have not yet won a game). They were down 2-12 at half time (yes, that was the half time score!). His pointguard twisted her ankle, and several of his players just lost hope and basically stopped trying. With six minutes to go in the game, they were down 9-28ish. He cleared his players and put in his bench to give them playing time. The other team not only continued to play with all their starting players, but continued to full court press the ball until the end of the game. The final score was 9-47. David said there is an unspoken rule that when you are winning by that much, you don't continue to press the ball. I couldn't believe how classless that was on the part of the other team. What do you think?

Snow Gear?
We have had an incredible amount of snow the past couple of days. Coming out of church today was windy and snowy, I've never felt anything quite like it before as we were all running to the car. Yesturday, Kennedy and Elizabeth got dressed to go play in the snow, and this is how Mia come to me, wanting to go out side. What do you think of her snow gear? I especially like the ballet skirt as a touch with just her diaper on underneath and no socks, of course.

Mom Song
You have to watch the video I have linked at the top of my page. My sister-in-law sent it to me and I had to pass it on. Enjoy! Or you can also see it at this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anSpBUxsgAU
