Good bye to DT!

We were driving through Provo today and I noticed that the rest of Deseret Towers were ready for demolition. This is where I lived my freshman year at BYU. Just a bit of nostalgia. .. Amy, we had a lot of fun memories here, especially our marathon lunches. We would sit for hours and just see who would come and sit with us and visit. Puts a smile on my face. I should add a few pictures, but they may be too embarassing. Good bye Deseret Towers!
Any one have a favorite college memory they want to share?

sooo many good memories from college to share! One of my favs is with my roommates my sophmore year. We would always have "dance parties." Randomly we would stop in parking lots turn the music up really loud in the car and start dancing in the parking lot! I think I'm too shy to do such things now.

We also would have marathon lunches while living in the dorms. Especially on fast sunday. We would eat, stay a few hours and before we left we would eat another meal! We met a lot of fun people that way.

Ahh, good old D.T. And how about "visiting hours". Every Sunday, anxiously waiting in our dorm rooms to see who would visit. And the boys would stroll the halls peeking their heads into every room along the way and decide where to hang out.

Gosh, doesn't that just break your heart? I dread visiting Whitworth again, because I know a lot of the buildings have changed there. Somehow, it seems like everything should stay exactly the same. Lots of great memories of college...I hated highschool, but college made up for it! Having hot chocolate and fries dipped in ranch dressing with Teri at midnight...Jan-Term girls get-a-way...writing papers while listening to Pink Floyd..."PTH" = Prime Time Tanning Hours (not to be disturbed by something as trivial as class!)...shopping trips to downtown Spokane...having a friend to talk to any hour of the day or night...
Of course, the best year of college was my senior year, because then I was married to Kurt! :)

I am so sad!!! I lived in the DT dorms my freshman year at BYU and loved every minute of it. Good times were had by all in the Q-223 room. We were on the very corner so we were closest to the stairs to get out or should I say sneak in and out!! I will never forget the ring ceremonies on the floor and filling one of the dorm rooms with crumpled newspaper. Seriously the entire room was filled to the ceiling!! Visiting hours on Sunday were always the BEST time to have the boys over! Good times and good memories.
